Real Madrid urgently need to buy replacements for their aging and injury prone frontline. Their first choice front three when everyone is fit, Benzema-Ronaldo-Bale have struggled this season with injuries and poor form. Karim Benzema has specially come in for a lot of criticism for his lack of goals. He has been repeatedly whistled at by the Santiago Bernabeu faithful and Zidane’s patience at the moment must be running thin. We take a look at few of the stars, Real could sign to replace Benzema. Important point to note is that Ronaldo at least has a couple of season at the top left, so any new attackers Real sign should be able to play with Ronaldo.

Eden Hazard

Hazard has repeatedly talked about his admiration for Zinedine Zidane and it won’t take much to convince him to come to Madrid. Whether Chelsea will want to sell him or not is the bigger question but with the likes of Matic and Cech having being sold to rival clubs, Florentino Perez must be really fancying his chances. Although Hazard has not played many times as the main man upfront, he has played as a false 9 at times. He should have no problems in playing with Ronaldo.

Harry Kane

Will Daniel Levy sell another of his stars to Real Madrid again? If Kanes leaves Tottenham, it will certainly be for a mammoth fee close or even higher to what PSG paid for Neymar. Harry Kanes certainly would be a Galactico signing and he has shown that he can combine effectively with different attackers at the highest level.

Anthony Martial

The Frenchman hasn’t quite settled in well with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United still. He still doesn’t have a starting spot in a team which recently has struggled to score goals. Just like for other young French footballers, Zidane would be a great attraction at Real Madrid. He can play on the left and through the center and would certainly be cheaper than the options on this list.

Paulo Dybala

Another talented player who can play across the frontline. Dybala after Pogba left is Juventus’s jewel in their crown and Perez would find it difficult to sign for anything less than a club record.

If their poor form continues, Real Madrid might have to make one or two emergency signings in January. None of the players in this list will be attainable in the January market unless there is a miracle.
