Barcelona winger Jose Arnaiz who made his debut in Barca’s last match against Murcia in the Copa Del Rey has attracted the attention of Premier League clubs Manchester United and Arsenal according to the Metro. Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims that the player’s agent has already received approaches from United, Arsenal and even Bayern Munich. Arnaiz just joined Barcelona in the summer after impressing at Valladolid but the biggest attraction for other clubs is his relatively modest release clause of £17.8m.
All the said three clubs are in desperate need of wingers but Arnaiz has a long way to go before he can become the solution to their problems on the wing. Manchester United tried hard to sign Ivan Perisic in the summer from Inter but refused to pay the high fee demanded by the Italian club. Arsenal on the other hand are destined to lose both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil either this January or in the summer and need to sign replacements. Where as Bayern need to replace the aging Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
