Manchester United after a humbling defeat head to the Netherlands to open their Europa League campaign against Feyenoord. Mourinho has indicated that he will give the squad players chances in the Europa League and coupled with some disastrous performances against Man City, we can expect a new look team to take to the field on Thursday.

After Blind’s mistakes against City, we can expect Chris Smalling to be back on the team. Darmian and Rojo should be back as fullbacks, as Valencia and Shaw pretty much ran till exhaustion against City. Up ahead, we should finally see Rashford get his first start of the season. The teenager has been terrific whenever he comes on and deserves to start. Memphis Depay should also get his first start of the season along with Ander Herrera who was excellent in the second half against Man City,

Although Mourinho needs to rotate so that all the players in United’s bloated squad get a chance, the Europa League is a very important tournament for United this season. Success in Europa League would be a great lift for United fans who have had a miserable three years after Ferguson left.
