Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has signed a new deal following his stunning debut season. Rashford who scored on his debut for England is also widely expected to part of the England Euro 2016 squad. According to Manchester United’s official website , Rashford is tied down till 2020 with an one year optional extension clause for the club to invoke. This contract is a clear indication that Rashford is in the new manager, Jose Mourinho’s plans and although the youngster might not be the first choice next season, he can expect ample amount of opportunities to showcase his talent.
Daniel Sturridge’s injury problems has opened a way for Rashford to go to the Euros and his goal on debut will do no harm for his chances. Hodgson is faced with a difficult decision but it is highly unlikely, even if Rashford travels to France that he will play for England. Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy are coming off excellent seasons and Wayne Rooney as the England captain is never out of the reckoning.
