4 Man United players who should be worried by Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Man United

Jose Mourinho has finally been confirmed as the Manchester United manager after months of speculation. Mourinho is known to prefer certain type of players in his team. Hardworking, loyal and experience are some of the Mourinho looks for in his players. Of course, Mourinho does allow talents like Cristiano Ronaldo and Eden Hazard to prosper in his teams but more and often and not they are surrounded by more functional players. Lets take a look at few of the players who need to be worried about Mourinho’s arrival.

Juan Mata

Juan Mata has once been sold by Mourinho and his poor form this season makes him first in this list. Mata who is not very strong and physical is not a Mourinho type winger. Neither did Mourinho prefer Mata as the number 10, where Oscar was preferred, a much fitter and energetic option.

Phil Jones

Jones has had another season blighted by injury and it looks like his career at Old Trafford is over. Mourinho prefers his centerbacks to be strong and error-free and Jones simply doesn’t check enough boxes.

Marcus Rashford

The potential arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a danger to the progress of Rashford. It is highly unlikely that Rashford will be sold any time soon, but his chances might be limited next season.

Memphis Depay

Mourinho likes his wingers to track back and defend as well as attack with pace and energy. Depay has failed miserably in his first season at United and it remains to be seen what Mourinho thinks of the Dutchman.
