Manchester United go into their Champions League qualifier against Club Brugge on the back of two 1-0 wins in the premier league. Although on paper it has been a perfect start for United,the performance on the pitch has been highly disappointing. United just have 3 shots on target over 180 minutes in the Premier League highlighting their stale attack although their defence has been solid. But still with talents like Mata and Schweinsteiger in the side, United will be expected to easily beat the Belgian side and qualify for the Champions League with ease.
Wayne Rooney is expected to continue as the sole striker even though his performances in the first two games was anything but good. Januzaj who scored the winner against Aston Villa is expected continue as the second striker although there have been calls for Juan Mata to play as the number 10. The defence is expected to be unchanged as they have put in a solid performance in the first two games in the Premier League. As De Gea’s future is not resolved yet ,Sergio Romero is expected to start in the goal for Manchester United.
United fans will be expect their team to qualify for the Champions League without any hassle.
