Real Madrid youngster Oscar Rodriguez has only 5 months left on his contract and has reportedly attracted the attention of Barcelona and Chelsea. Rodriguez is very highly rated but the lack of first team chances might force him to look elsewhere. Spanish outlet Don Balon claim that Chelsea are ready to submit a bid for the youngster in the January window. Barcelona on the other hand know that a direct transfer from Real to Barca is a remote possibility, so the best chance for them would be to wait till summer and offer a contract directly to the player.

On the other hand, Barcelona are known for their policy of promoting youth. But in recent times, most of the La Masia graduates have struggled to nail down a first team starting role except for Sergi Roberto.
